Time to meet our next bride and groom!
I have known Libby since she was little. I used to babysit her! She has lived next door to my house for years. It was an honor to be their photographer. It was such a beautiful day of sharing their love story.
How did you meet? Church. I was coming back from summer camp and Tom was coming home from a year on mission in Chicago.
When did you get engaged? September 12, 2009. We were engaged for a year and a half for me to finish school. It was tough, but worth it.
Did you have a First Look? After much deliberation, no. I talked with Allison about what great pictures you can get, how it eases nerves and makes the day go smoother, but ultimately for us, nothing beat seeing each other as I was coming down the aisle. It still gives me chills. It was such an incredible moment in life!
What was your favorite detail? So many small things happened to make this day feel like us. Tom says his grooms cake was a total surprise. I loved the small sentiments, like the penny and six pence from my sister in law, our wishing tree at the reception, and the music we picked.
Any advice about wedding planning for future bride/grooms? Don't rush the process, and make it what you want, not what people think you want.
Funniest memory from your wedding day? Pretending like we were going to feed each other cake, then smashing it in our maid of honors/best mans faces. And making the girl that caught the bouquet put the garter on the guy that caught the garter, because they were both so hilarious about it!
If you could do it all over, would you change anything? No. I loved it all. All of the craziness, all of the planning, all of the flower picking and hair appointments were so worth it.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? Sandals Antigua!!! Most relaxing week of our lives!!
What was the best part about working with me? Your direction was so helpful, and you helped the day run smoothly. Having two of you is so wonderful. The way you captured details, faces, moments... Wow.
What is something I can improve on in my business? Bump up your prices girl, you're worth it :)

reception venue: Americas Packard museum
dj: Dan Edwards (yes, from WDTN). He made our reception amazing- I've literally never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding. He also helped us figure out the plan for the night, which was incredibly helpful. He really kept the party going.
cake: Jerry Deeter, connected to our caterer
dress: Nancys Bridal in indianapolis. Absolutely amazing service from Barb.
bridesmaid dresses: Davids Bridal. Easy since my girls were from all over the country. They were generally very helpful and made the experience easy.
